This is a Colt Model 1851 “Navy” Revolver 3rd Model, made in 1851. This antique .36 caliber percussion revolver has all matching numbers on the frame, barrel, cylinder, and both halves of the brass grips. It is in good condition for a 169-year-old pistol with strong springs, good timing, proper rotation of the cylinder, and good lock-up. The finish and the Naval scene have been worn away to a grey patina, and the grips have compressions and a small missing chip from the left front panel as shown. The bore is dark with pitting as shown. A nice example of a mainstay of the Civil War & the American West!
This is an antique and does not require shipment to an RFD.
This is restricted to adults 21 and older.
