For sale today,we have a Colt Model of 1849 Pocket chambered for .31 caliber round ball projectiles through a 4 inch barrel that is all numbers matching along with the factory stagecoach scene engraved on the cylinder. This revolver was produced in 1856 and is in good cosmetic condition with some cosmetic wear present throughout the finish of the firearm from age. The frame has minimal signs of the original finish present and the markings are mostly faded from the sides of the revolver. The cylinder has minimal finish present as well although the engravings are very legible and some of the engravings are still crisp. The barrel markings are in good condition with some minor fading present. The action of the revolver is responsive and the hammer has a positive feeling spring along with solid lockup on each chamber of the cylinder. The trigger has a crisp break with a minimal amount of overtravel. The rifling is very good for the age of the firearm with high shine and sharp lans throughout the bore although there are some minor signs of pitting present from age. The grips have most of the original finish still present throughout the wood although there are small chips present on the base of both grip panels. The brass trigger guard has some fading present from normal use. The serial number on this antique revolver is 111866
