2-BAND TOWER P1856 ENFIELD PERCUSSION SHORT MUSKET Dated 1857 on the lock with crown over "VR" cypher. Blade front sight and ladder rear. Full length walnut stock with 2 iron barrel bands and brass butt plate, as well as some iron tack decorations. Includes period leather sling. Some P1856 were imported and used by Confederate troops in the Civil War. CONDITION: Good. Very good bore.
