Charles Daly Prussian 10ga double 32in late 1890's Damascus barrels

Charles Daly, PRUSSIAN Model 125 I am told, 10 Gauge, HA Linder marked Side by side shotgun. 10 gauge double trigger gun with 32 inch Steel barrels. LOP = 13 3/4 inch to a newly installed Decelerator pad. Weighs 10 lbs 15 ozs. Appears to be choked Full and Full measures at 7.36 and 7.36. according to my gauge. Has Linder markings plus many other proofs. This is a WELL MADE gun and nothing like the current Charles Daly branded guns. 3 digit serial number of 754 suggests an early gun, maybe late 1890's, numbers are matching. Metal is nice and wood is very nice!
Has 32 inch Damascus barrels that are shiny with bright, excellent bores. This is a Prussian Charles Daly side-by-side shotgun manufactured by H.A. Lindner circa 1890's. The extremely well built Superior Grade extractor gun with cocking indicators features an Anson & Deeley top lever action with figured walnut and accent engraving. With total production of the Prussian guns estimated at under 4000 this one falls into the serial numbers having the later Lindner crossed pistols below "HAL" proof mark. In near excellent condition the barrels retain most, 90-95% blue with some scattered light use marks marked CHARLES DALY on the rib, The foliate engraved receiver, is mostly in the white with perhaps 10% of the original case color in the protected areas with excellent crisp detail throughout. The figured walnut stock and forearm are in very good plus condition with the stock solid, showing much of the original, worn fine checkering, darkened with age having some old use marks and contusions. The forend has the same fine checkering, horn tip and beautiful wood grain pattern. The action locks up tight with the lever resting DEAD center. And the DAC is 1 5/8 inches at the comb and 2 5/8 inches at the heel. A beautiful Lindner made Prussian Charles Daly, that will be a pleasure to shoot and the envy of many.
