Cased Pair of Merwin Hulbert Revolvers

Custom wooden case holds a Merwin Hulbert & Co. large frame Army single action revolver in 44-40 WCF caliber (marked “Calibre Winchester 1873”) with a 7 inch round barrel, nickel finish, and antique ivory grips and a 44-40 WCF caliber Merwin Hulbert pocket Army single action revolver with a 3 ½ inch barrel and nickel finish. Both revolvers have the desirable bird's head grip with a lanyard loop commonly referred to as the “skull crusher”. Both revolvers are in good to very good condition. Manufactured c. 1876-1880’s.
