Antique Colt Model 1851 Navy .36 caliber revolver made in 1863 (Fourth model). Serial number 154099. This revolver has a 7-1/2 inch barrel. This is an "as found" gun. The finish is original patina with some old pitting and dings. The brass guard has mostly been worn to brass with a mustard colored patina.
All serialized parts, including the wedge, are matching, although some of the numbers are worn. The serial number on cylinder is hard to read but looks like 4099 (matches).
The bore has visible rifling and scattered corrosion. The cylinder does not index, but the rest of the action works. Includes a modern case with a vintage bullet mold, a vintage powder flask, and modern cast bullets (6 ball and 6 conical).
