Here we present a Percussion Cane Gun, made circa the 20th Century. Cane guns were popular in Victorian England. Yes, some gentlemen may have used them around town for a covert self-defense weapon, but a much more common and mundane use was in the country where a farmer might need a walking stick on his hunt for small game and need a very handy, close-range weapon to dispatch an animal in thick brush. Regardless of the type of use, these are very neat and quite scarce.
The overall condition is fine. Original finish throughout. The action is simple and robust. The bore is smooth and bright. The grip is solid.
Overall length: 34-3/4 inches.
Caliber: .68 Percussion
Overall condition: Excellent
