For sale is a beautiful half stock Antique eastern style 36 caliber Percussion Rifle (possible flintlock conversion..also possibly made as a full stock and altered to a half stock. The beautiful wood of the Tiger Striped maple is aged to a uniform color with no cracks however, there are dents and dings and a small amount of wood loss above the lock but no cracks or chips. The stock is solid (not loose) and has a pewter nose cap, 2 thimbles, brass hinged lid flush inlet patch box, brass trigger guard and crescent butt plate. The metal finish is a mottled brown patina with some oxidation .
The gun is 50" over all length with a 34 "barrel (What I can see of the bore looks dark....I have not cleaned this gun) the old ram rod appears to be original to the rifle. There is a fixed rear sight and a German silver blade front sight. The double set trigger will not hold full cock unless trigger is set. The lock has some stamps but are unreadable.
At the sale they had no additional history about the gun however, everything appears old and original , I am offering it with a 100% satisfaction guarantee, if it does not live up to your expectations in any way return it for a full and speedy refund including your return shipping
