This is a very rare and hard to find, larger frame single shot. Made by Whitney it is a Rolling Block. It has a 28" octagon barrel. the bore is pitted but has strong rifling. not as bad a some I have seen. The finish is a mostly smooth patina, a couple of chips in the stock. The action seems to operate properly
