This gorgeous engraved antique shotgun still locks up tight (with a very slight wiggle) and seems to function correctly. Serial number appears to be 899 making this a very early example. The forend is chipped and the barrels are pitted internally. The Damascus pattern is still very vibrant.
Antique NO LICENCE NEEDED.
46 1/2" overall with 30" barrels.
I do not know the chamber lengths.
I don't see or feel any dents in the barrels.
Choked barrels measure Right Improved cylinder, Left Improved cylinder.
Bores are dark with pitting.
The lock up is tight with very little wiggle or play.
Action and triggers seem to work correctly.
Matching hammers.
