Antique US Model 1836 pistol originally manufactured as a flintlock and later converted to percussion. No markings on the lock. The barrel has “JH/P” stamped on it (no “US” is present). The captive ramrod may be a reproduction. he metal is lightly pitted all over, the wood has various scratches and bruises.
No cartouches are visible on the stock, no stamp is visible on the left flat of the barrel, and no stamp is visible on the tang in front of the trigger guard.
