This gun has about 95% original nickel and blue remaining, bore is like new, action is crisp and tight. Serial is in 51xxx range, made about 1895. In 1946 the gun was sent back to SW and reworked, there is month and a year stamped under the grips as well as a star next to the serial numbers. Grips are near excellent with the left grip somewhat faded to brown, probably after prolonged sun exposure.
