Antique Royal Irish Constabulary Marked Martini-Henry smooth bore single shot riot/guard gun in .577/450. Arsenal reworked to smooth bore, circa 1890S for fire a special .577/450 shot round. “R.I.C.” Marked brass stock disc, and “1892” dated cartouche on the right side of the stock. 33-¼” barrel with blade front sight and v-notch rear. Arsenal blued finishes. Wood has been arsenal sanded/oiled. Original clearing rod. CONDITION: Metal is a consistent brown patina throughout. Some pitting at the stock line. Wood has handling marks and scratches. There is a surface crack on the right side of the forearm. Bore has some light pitting near the muzzle. Bore is otherwise clean.
