ANTIQUE PERCUSSION KETLAND LONDON BRASS CANNON BARREL PISTOL

This is a great little single shot brass barreled pistol. It was made by Ketland of London. The barrel has a rare cannon end. Gun is in particularly good condition will cock if you push trigger forward. Genuinely nice gun 6-1/2 inches long Single shot pistol with an interesting brass “cannon” style barrel 2-1/2 inches long. The barrel is marked at the left side of the breech with an oval proof mark and “LONDON.” Right side marked “KETLAND.” The weapon is smoothbore so there are no sights. Bore measures approximately .50 caliber, so may have fired a patched .44 caliber round ball. Brass shows minor wear. Pistol is a percussion gun and has an original nipple. Iron hammer, trigger, and trigger guard. There is no half-cock but it does hold at full and falls properly.
