Antique H&R "The American DA” 6-Shot Revolver 3rd Variation .32 S&W

This antique revolver was manufactured by the Harrington and Richardson company in the late 1890s. There are very few markings on these revolvers. The only obvious marking are the words, "The American" and "Double Action" stamped into the top strap. The octagon barrel is 2 1/2 inches long. It is chambered to shoot .32 S&W cartridges. These revolvers were manufactured before smokeless powder cartridges were widely available and were designed for black powder cartridges. This revolver is in good mechanical condition, it functions the way it should, and the action is still fairly tight. As you can see, the nickel plating is very good. The hard rubber grips are solid with no cracks or chips. No serial number.
