Antique 19th Century French Eugene Lefaucheux Model 1862 converted to Centerfire Civil War Era Triple Action Revolver - Caliber 12 mm - Made in Paris, France by E. Lefaucheux

On the top of the barrel is stamped E. LEFAUCHEUX BRTE S.G.D.G following a large personalized X engraved in the barrel (for the Confederate battle flag or Southern Cross). On the left side of the barrel is serial number 3394 with the stamp LF (for initials LeFaucheux). Under the barrel is a faded stamp INVrn E. LEFAUCHEUX BREVETE S.G.D.G (PARIS) stamped with the number 7. Stamped on the loading gate is 38 X. On the top of the right side of the wooden grip is personally carved the Southern Cross of Honor.
The Confederate symbols personally engraved and carved into this gun shows that the gun is a Civil War relic used during the Civil War and Confederate owned. The Confederate battle flag also called Southern Cross engraved on the steel barrel is the main symbol of the Confederacy. The carved Southern Cross of Honor on the wood grip is a symbol of the Confederacy to honor Confederate Veterans.

Overall Condition: Good. Mechanics function. The Triple action hammer fully cocks back and the trigger pull releases the hammer (single action) and the hammer half cocks back and the trigger pull releases the hammer (double action) and the trigger pulls fully that releases the hammer (triple action). The ejector rod works great with a strong spring. The loading gate when opened and pushed up falls back down. There are personalized Civil War symbols engraved on the barrel and carved on the wood grip. The markings under the barrel are faded.
