Antique Colt 1862 Police (Type 2 ) YOUNG Engraved

Here is an example of a Rare Gustave Young Engraved ( Wolf head hammer) 1862 Police Pocket Model Type 2, in .38 cf Cal. and a 4 ½" barrel with aged original Ivory grips. Serial number 37947E, all match. The “E” indicates is was selected to be engraved. This revolver is completely original and was Nickel plated. No finish remains only traces. Works as it should. Brass Triger Guard and Back Strap has a tarnish finish with strong engraving, cylinder has no finish and traces of scene. frame is grey with strong engraving, ejector has 10% Nickel finish, barrel address and Colt Patent markings a are weak, barrel and ejector are bark with some peppering to the metal.
