Antique Assembled PROJECT US Springfield Trapdoor Rifle

Up for sale is a used, antique assembled US Springfield Trapdoor rifle project. Barrel measures 32 5/8.
Metal surfaces are mostly shades of patina with assorted handling marks, older rust staining and areas of pitting. Long comb two band stock has been sanded and refinished at some point, no longer shows any cartouches, and shows assorted handling marks with some scattered chips and there is a crack just below the lock plate. Rifle is equipped with a low fixed front blade and the rear sight is missing. Breechblock is dated 1873 Finally, the hammer has a case of push off at all three positions.
