This little pepperbox has been a little difficult to research. It seems to be a fairly rare, high-quality Spanish-made pepperbox revolver, likely produced in the 19th century. The "ARRATE" marking suggests a connection to Eibar, Spain, a historic firearms manufacturing hub. Given the low serial number (42), it may be an early production piece, possibly from a small-scale workshop rather than a large manufacturer. It's chambered in 7mm (.280)
