Antique American Standard Tool Co. .22 Cal 7-shot pocket revolver, circa late 1850s to early 1860s.
Approximate 3" octagonal barrel with integral top rib that tips up for loading. Overall approximately 7-1/2" long.
Brass - coated frame. Note from the pictures that the coating is thinning behind the cylinder.
Barrel and cylinder are shiny and very clean.
Top of barrel is marked: AMERICAN STANDARD TOOL CO. NEWARK, N.J.
