Beautiful Antique Alexander Henry Falling Block Patent Sporting Rifle by renown English gunmaker James Burrow circa 1869-1880, chambered in .450 3 ¼ BP Express. The rifle features 28” barrels, with an overall length of just over 45". The receiver, breech, tang, hammer, lock and trigger guard feature English-style scroll engraving. The rifle also features fancy English walnut stock with wrist checkering and still retains its deep, rich color with the lock retaining very precise and strong action known to all Alexander Henry rifles. The lock plate and stock is custom modified for right hand shoulder left eye dominant. The screws are all serviceable, showing little to no tooling.
