This ANTIQUE (1887) WINCHESTER 1873 3RD MODEL in 44-40 WCF Cal. is in approx. 35% antique condition. .44-40 WCF cal. (rare), 24 in. octagon barrel (rare), dust cover rail integral with frame, serial 90,000-end of production. Mfg in 1887. Serial Number 2274xxB. Barrel bore is dark with noticeable light pitting, but has usable rifling. There are scratches, dings, and dents on the stocks and metal surfaces appropriate with its age. Action is very smooth and works well.
