This is an antique American Standard Tool Company .22 Cal Pocket Revolver. This 7-shot revolver was built between 1868-1873 and features a brass frame, a steel cylinder, a 3.125” octagonal barrel with rib, an unguarded spur trigger, and wood grip panels. The barrel is marked “AMERICAN STANDARD TOOL CO. NEWARK, N.J.” and the serial number is stamped on the back. The barrel swings up, and the cylinder is removed to load the weapon. The hammer and trigger have strong springs and operate properly.
The grip panels are complete and uncracked. A rare and interesting collectable pocket pistol.
