Amazing Antique V.Chr. Schilling Suhl German Dueling Pistols Matched Pair

Today we present to you a pair of pistols that you will likely never find a comparible example of. These are antique, 1849-1857 manufactured Valentine Christoph Schilling Duelling Pistols in the form of a true Matched Pair, in real deal collector grade condition with an absolutely outstanding amount of original bluing remaining 170+ years later. This is the complete package, as shown. The condition and craftsmanship is nothing short of remarkably break taking.
Both pistols have very visible rifling with incredible crowns, exhibition grade wood and engraving, adjustable target sights and unbelievable mechanical condition. Both half cock and full cock on both pistols work much better than you would expect on pistols of this age. The hammers are tight and pronounced when locking into place. The triggers appear to be adjustable. The serial numbers match on all serialized parts shown. Caps, bullets, loading and measuring tools, and the key to the original Schilling presentation case are included as shown. Everything you see in the pictures will be yours. There is really not much to complain about on these pistols unbelievably. You will be incredibly hard pressed to find ANYTHING on Schilling pistols, although his rifles are popular and well documented. These are extremely rare and in very high condition. One of the hammers has a small chip in it as shown. It doesn't appear to affect function. Please ask all questions you want. The bullets measure right at 45 Caliber.
