Up for sale is a Toradar Matchlock Musket chambered in 64 Cal. The country of origin is hard to pinpoint due to the lack of markings or records, but most of these antique muskets are made in the area of India / Pakistan / Afghanistan. The musket features a 49.5 inch barrel with worn rifling. The musket is in surprisingly good condition given its incredibly old age ( C. 14th Century AD. ) the musket has been decorated with a lot of brass tacks, leather, and other metals due to most of these guns being deemed state of the art technology at the time and thus were status pieces for most who owned them. The buttpad is made out of what looks like many layers of animal hide. The trigger mechanism somehow is still in working condition and springs back into place every time you pull the trigger. This musket also features a saddle ring and original ramrod. A truly museum grade piece and a living time capsule of the early days of firearms technology.
