Here we present an antique Colt U.S. Model 1860 Army Revolver, made in 1862 .
The wolf’s head is engraved on either side of the hammer and there is an eagle over the left side of the barrel wedge. Floral scroll with punch dot background makes up the body with small details such as the zig-zag border at the muzzle.
The overall condition is near fine. Finely engraved in the style of Young after leaving the factory. The action is excellent. The cylinder scene is faintly visible. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The ivory is solid. Numbers match throughout.
