£ 2,009.001855 Colt 28 Caliber Root Revolver - For Sale
You are viewing an Original, Antique 1855 Colt 28 Caliber Root Model 1 Revolver. Serial #3xx. Pistol measures 8-1/2? overall with 3-½" barrel, and is in Fine condition. Capping groove cutout measures 5/8?. All markings are present and actions are fine. Cylinder scene is excellent. Wood grip is very fine .
There were less then 400 manufactured of the model 1 and 1A total. Made in 1855 in Hartford, Connecticut by Colt.
