Here we present an antique Early British Double-Action Percussion 6-Shot Transitional Revolver, made circa 1840s-50s in England. It features Birmingham proof marks.
The overall condition is good. Strong action. The bore is in good shape for its age. Metal has developed a rich gray patina. Engravings are clear and crisp and on the frame, backstrap and trigger guard. The grips are well used but sit firmly against the frame. Barrel is loose and the cylinder timing and trigger reset do not function properly with every trigger pull. This is a piece of English history that can be yours today!
